How to promote your bands music on MySpace

There is no doubt that MySpace is a great tool for self promoting your band or music. Putting your bands music on Myspace is a killer way to get your name out there and can often support a band in getting gigs and even selling cd's and merch. Myspace music pages can be set up to have your bands songs, pictures, biography, gigs, updates, friends and comments.

Setting up a music myspace account is simple and fairly quick, all you need to do is go to www.myspace.com then in the light blue bar across the top there is a music button. Click it, then go to artist sign up in the red bar across the top. Or you could just click Here.

Once you have your account set up you just make yourself a layout like these and start adding friends. Then your on your way to becoming a superstar!

Of course if you want to add your bands music to myspace you'll need to firstly know how to record music onto your computer. I also recommend looking at other bands profiles to see what they do right or what they do wrong and learn from them. It's also good to always look for something original as well when using myspace to promote your bands music.
