The easiest way to make your own music website, is to use a template or layout already designed by a professional. Prices are on average around fifty to sixty dollars. Much cheaper than if you hired a website designer to create one for you. Themes include guitar templates, band , instrument, music store templates and many others ready to download.

What software do you need to edit the music templates?

If you press the details link under the template (layout) your interested in, you will be shown a list of software you need for editing / changing to suit your needs. For most of the music layouts you need the following:

• Adobe Photoshop 7+ to change the images and pictures to your own. You can also get away with using Paint Shop Pro if you don't have Photoshop.
  
  
• Macromedia Flash MX+ if you purchase a music flash template. Many also come with both flash and HTML versions of the same music template in the one package. You can then choose to use either the flash or HTML version. If you're intending to use the HTML version, you don't need the Flash software package.
  
  
• Macromedia Dreamweaver or other HTML website editing program. The music templates are also compatible with Adobe GoLive, Microsoft Frontpage 2003, Microsoft Expression Web.
